Direct Cremation Service for £1200

What’s included:
- Our Professional fees and completion of the documents
- Removal from any Hospital in Essex during office hours
- Care and preparation of your loved one at our Funeral Home in Chelmsford
- A wood effect coffin
- A non attended cremation at a local crematorium within 40 miles
- Couriered delivery or collection of ashes within 28 days of the cremation
Additional fees that may be payable:
- £250 For immediate care and attendance (should your loved one pass at a hospice, care home or private residence we will be required to attend without delay)
- Please inform us if your loved one is heavier than 17 stone or over 6’6″ in height as we will need to provide extra staff for safe and dignified transfer into our care. An additional fee of £390 will be applied for a specially-ordered coffin and additional bearing staff.

On receipt of your call we will advise you on the next stages in order to proceed with our services.
We bring your loved one into our care
Immediately from any non-hospital location, or from any Essex hospital within 2 days of the paperwork being completed. Your loved one will be prepared and cared for at our Chapel of rest in Chelmsford. (Additional fees may apply, see our FAQs)
The cremation is arranged and we advise you of the date and time of committal
We will arrange, collate and send you the documents for signing via secure courier which you return to us. Once the committal has been booked, we notify you of the date and time it will take place so you can have a moment of reflection.
The committal takes place in a local crematorium
On the day, your loved one will be escorted to the crematorium by our uniformed staff in our specially adapted funeral vehicle. You can choose to have one piece of music played during the committal.
You receive the ashes within 28 days
We return the ashes to you via tracked courier, or they will be ready for you to collect from our funeral home, within 28 days. A member of our team can hand deliver the ashes for an additional fee if you wish.
